It looks like policitians blog too.. Today our former prime minister Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz has started his first blog. It already has over 150 comments on the first day.. Do you think blogging can or should be used as a political tool?

You want to check what news is on top? Visit Gwar (in Polish only). Very interesting approach to news, everybody can put their own mark on any news and also can publish any interesting news which is later being commented by the others.

For those of you who know German I recommend to visit a Bildblog. This blog was created by anty-readers of the Bild, a German magazine. They point out the mistakes and lies which were written in the recent editions of the magazines. Despite of this black PR, the magazine is doing well...

e-grasshoper being a long-time Internet user righfully notices that Internet is full of waste. It seems that useless information surrounds us. We may spend more time than we want just on selecting the valuable information from the trash. Are we not adding more dump by writing our blogs by any chance???

Today I must admit: I slowly started to see some point in all this idea of blogging instead of writig a "normal" project as an assingment. But I'm still far away from being a blog lover..By the way big THANKS!!! to e-grasshopper for all useful hints.

Perhaps blogging will be only used as 'a place for friends'. My Space  is a perfect example of this. As Juan C. Perez states in his article nobody even heard of this social networking a few years ago. And despite of different opinions about this website, News Corporation bought it in 2005 paying 580mln$!!!

Let's be honest: most people do not like to read. They like to be entertained. Blogs give them exactly this - variety of entertainement. If so, do you think blogs could be used as marketing tools in most companies?

People have been writing their personal diaries for ages by pen and paper and keeping it very personal. It seems these days are gone now because THE BLOG has arrived and  taken over.

Now all it matters is to have a blog -  a personal home page in diary format visible for everybody..

What's so special about blogs if you cant keep very personal things in them? Is is just a way of getting notice without telling everything about oneself like in a true diary? Why did it become so popular and trendy to have blogs? Is it just a  new American fad that will last a couple of years or is it there to stay? Or will it like Frankenstein’s monster grow and grow in something bigger and threaten the fabric of society, so that we cannot live without a blog and we have to blog every day and feel less of yourselves if we dont?

Are they that useful and necessary? Does everybody now want to share their private or business life with hundreds of thousands of unknown impersonal viewers or should we relegate it to business purposes only?

To blog or not to blog? That is the question!
